If you’re a fan of getting huge, you’ve probably looked into taking supplements to enhance your pump. Andy Frisella started Supplement Superstores with his best friend around 20 years ago. Today, Andy's companies bring in hundreds of millions in annual revenue. But getting there wasn't easy. At all...

In the beginning, he and his partner saved up their money and found a location. They paid the first year's rent up front (no one wants to rent to two young people with nonexistent credit scores). It cost them all of their savings. They loaded up on credit cards to stock the shelves. From day one, they were strapped for cash, but at least their doors were open.

Their first day in business, they did $7 in sales. The second day? $0. The third? Around $20. Everything they made went back into the business. Andy personally didn't make anything his first three years in business. The next four, he made just $700 a month.

They didn't have any money to afford a place to live. They slept in the back of the store on a pee-stained mattress from Salvation Army.

Before the end of the first month, their store was broken into and trashed. All of the inventory they had was gone. Giving up wasn't an option. They worked construction jobs and painted stripes in parking lots to restock the shelves.

One day, Andy and a friend were out walking when someone called her a racial slur. Andy stood up for her. The guy had a knife, and he stabbed Andy in the face, repeatedly. He was hospitalized and needed 160 stitches. He still has the scars. But Frisella is an absolute badass. He doesn't believe in being a victim. He struggled, but he picked himself up and kept getting after it.

Day by day, customer by customer, they grew the business. After 7 years of overcoming obstacles, Andy's hard work paid off. His companies became very successful, and he's still killing it to this day. He currently has a podcast called Real AF (you know what "AF" stands for). This podcast evolved from another podcast he and his team started: The MFCEO Project (you also know what “MF” stands for). Andy gives it to you straight. Lots of f-bombs, and lots of rants. His content is great. His stories are great. He believes in what he’s doing so much that he doesn’t even run ads.
