Shane Heath loved his daily coffees until he became a borderline insomniac. He fell into the “you can do more with coffee” paradigm and quickly found himself guzzling down three cups a day. Shane thinks that the ‘morning ritual’ should be more than just an opportunity to inject ourselves with caffeine. If we’re going to fuel our bodies every morning, we might as well use the good stuff. So, he set off to create a drink that helped his mood, increased his athletic performance, boosted his immune system, and tasted good.
He was introduced to Masala Chai on a trip to India, and listening to health guru podcasts opened him up to a world of obscure organic ingredients. He began experimenting with his Hydro Flask. He threw in stuff like Chaga for overall health, Lions Mane for mental health, Reishi for recovery, and Cacao for taste.
